We strength train or run for muscles or for the cardiovascular system,
but the ancient science and art of yoga is about changing--but not just changing--transforming self.
We take this time from our daily concerns for the purpose of remembrance and reverence for the sacred journey we're all involved in this moment.
This powerful disruptor of the ordinary attentional demands of our day breaks us from our accustomed roles and duties.
But how willing to change are we?
To wholeheartedly comply with changes occurring, neither the allergy nor defensive posturing need present itself.
Invocation is invitation.
To invoke Spirit into our Minds, Hearts, and Bodies sidesteps the tendency to "do" yoga, to perform it, or to exhibit it.
Invocation is Spirit-Romance.
