Why? Questions are central to mapping our personal [practice] development, and learning how the quality of our inquiries can be refined and redefined can change the trajectory of our practice enormously. This is for people with questions about their practice, about what they're learning, about their teaching practice.... Some people would call this a bridge call, I'm calling it getting together, hanging out, drinking tea, and being around swell individuals.
What else? Bring your questions, bring a topic you'd like to discuss with other yoga practitioners, pitch it for input, offer it to the greater community, ask how other teachers are handling particular situations, and brainstorm your way out of a rut....
This is for you! Come with something to offer, even if it's a listening presence.
Where? Tsubo; 1821 W. Hubbard; take the stairs.
When? Friday February 8; 11a-1p. Free: just come on over. Maybe we can skype your distant self in if necessary. You don't have to attend the whole thing.
What else? There are mats there or you can bring your own. I'll present some resources, some soft tissue manipulations you can do for yourself and fold it into a sweet shoulder mechanics experience. Present whatever you like. Bring a note-taking tool if it helps you [no audio recording].
This is first and foremost for people with familiarity with Forrest Yoga. This is for Forrest yoga teachers and derivations of Forrest.
